Best BBQ catering we’ve had. Jamie quoted us, showed up on time, the brisket was unbelievable. Honest, no-fuss service. We do this block party every year now and Rainier Feast is doing it as long as they’ll have us.

We did a family-style retirement dinner for my dad. Jamie was straightforward about what they could and couldn’t do — pushed us toward family-style instead of the plated thing we initially asked for. Right call. Whole crew of 4 servers were great. Mac and cheese might be the best I’ve ever had.

The food was very good. The 3-star is for one specific issue: my sister-in-law has a tree-nut allergy and I asked Jamie up-front if it could be safe. Jamie was honest that the kitchen isn’t nut-free and couldn’t guarantee it, which I appreciated, but I’d already booked when I learned about the allergy and we had to scramble for a backup. Lesson: ask BEFORE booking. Jamie partly refunded the deposit which I didn’t expect. Food itself was 5-star. Logistics on my end were 1-star. Averaging out.
